Julie Humphrey is working on her Master's of Non-profit
Management degree. She currently holds an M.Div. and a B.A. in Asian
Studies. She spent 3 years working and volunteering with children and
college students in the Philippines. Currently she is volunteering full-
time for Her Star Scholars.

 

 

 

Kelly Carothers is working towards a Master's in Industrial Organizational
Psychology and holds a B.A. in Asian Studies. She has 15 years of experience in human
resources and management. She lived in the Philippines for a year and in Thailand for
half a year. 



Heidi Landes has worked in the non-profit world for the past
20 years in a variety of roles including Executive Director
and Grant Writing Consultant.  She has a B.A. in
Communications from Miami University and a MBA from the University of Dayton.  She has been a volunteer host mom for
children from Burkina Faso who come to the United States for
surgery. Heidi and her family are currently living in Mexico,
where they are volunteering at a home for neglected and
abused children. 

 

 

 Nancy Hoffman has been working with Los Ninos as
co-facilitator since it first started five years ago. She has lived
in Guatemala for 12 years where she owns and operates a travel
business. Nancy holds a B.A. in education and a Master's
degree in Criminal Justice.

  Edgardo Zerna is a licensed social worker who serves as
Social Welfare Officer 2 for the DSWD in Agusan del Sur.
He is a graduate of Silliman University and has worked as a
community organizer and social worker with children for
many years. 

 

 

 

 

 

Leilane “Yenyen” Zerna graduated with a degree in commerce with a focus on marketing from Xavier University. She has worked as a cashier, bookkeeper, and treasurer.
